Our Solar Removal & Reinstallation Process

Onboarding

Submit a new project through our onboarding form.

A deposit and agreement are completed.

Apollo confirms details with the client and gathers additional system information (monitoring setup, equipment storage, etc.).

Onsite system inspection & Removal

We coordinate with the roofer/contractor to schedule the removal within a 2-day window of the roof install date.

Removal is scheduled directly with the client.

The roofing team completes the new roof installation.

  • Apollo is notified when the roof is complete, and reinstallation is scheduled within 1-4 days (dependent on shingle type and weather conditions).

Solar Reinstallation

Our team reinstalls the system using brand-new mounting hardware, ensuring longevity and roof integrity.

  • A final performance and health inspection is conducted to confirm the system is operating at peak efficiency.

The client reviews and approves the completion form, and the final invoice is sent.

  • Apollo warranties its installation for 5 years from the installation date.

  • We assist with any manufacturer warranties on existing equipment.

Apollo+ Monitoring Service is available for clients who choose to opt-in.

Scheduling

Our team arrives on-site and conducts a full system inspection to verify that the solar system is operational.

  • Any equipment issues are identified before removal.

Apollo’s team carefully removes panels, racking, and necessary hardware.

  • The roofer will remove the mounting hardware and lags (new ones will be provided upon reinstall).

  • A detailed system report is sent to the client, offering insights into performance and potential upgrades.
